The Twits was one of my favourite books as a child, for despite it’s somewhat dark characters, Dahl managed to create a funny and comical atmosphere. How amazing for an eight year old me to feel such vengeance when the Twits got what they rightfully deserved! Above all, Dahl makes all the supporting characters play such a big role in the book. He also ensures that enough build up of hatred is created for the Twits, to see their horrible actions and feel such joy when they are defeated. - @jewelreader of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
