I would not have requested this book if I had known it wrote about a very young girl being molested by grandfather type neighbor. There needs to be a warning so readers know. It was disturbing so I returned it.

I would put this book in the category of "light summer reading". A nice little story but sad that relationships between mothers and daughters were so strained. I was disappointed that the author did not put more emphasis on some of the serious subjects she included. Things happened and people just kept things inside and were hurt. It proves how important communication is for a family to have healthy relationships. Faith is wonderful but sometimes people need professional help. The book could have been shorter because there was alot of "fluff" that didn't contribute to the story line in any important way.

After finishing the first book, Her Mother's Hope, I couldn't wait to read this finale! It was good, but not great. I enjoyed the first one more.

This comes full circle and focuses on redemption of broken relationships, but the final major character is taken too far and becomes a little unbelievable.

But still enjoyable.

Wonderful book. Francine Rivers in an amazing author; every book that I've read from her draws me in and keeps me reading for hours on end.

I really enjoyed this series! I recommend reading it, whether for the first or 100th time!

Francine River's first book in this series was much better. This one, of course, must be read just to tie up loose ends and cure curiousity.

Wonderful sequel to Her Mother's Hope. The way she moves seamlessly through the generations speaks to her talent and understanding of the silence that speaks volumes in families. Well worth the read but should read in sequence.
