Jacob's Landing is a beautiful read. It tells the story of Jacob, a young boy spending the summer with his estranged Grandparents, while coping with the loss of his father. Jacob is hesitant and resistant to this experience, however the more time he spends at Newport Landing, the more secrets he uncovers. Secrets that allow him to appreciate his surroundings, and love and accept his new found family. Definitely one I would recommend.
