I absolutely loved this book it was an inspiring and heartwarming book which is also based on more sensitive topics like suicide and bullying, it will definitely raise your awareness about what is happening around you. I would easily recommend this book to anyone.

(WARNING: Spoilers!!)

I really really really loved this book!!!! I couldn't stop reading it! It was heartwarming but it also touched sensitive topics like suicide. Kudos to the author, not many people can write about suicide and have people be entertained by it. "Friends For Life" is about a guy named Francis who suddenly encounters a ghost girl named Jessica. They quickly become friends as Francis is the only person who can see her. They discover many secrets about each other, like how and why Jessica committed suicide, and how and why Francis was thinking about doing it too. They even make some new friends half way through the book. My favourite part about this book was when Aunt Jo convinced Lorna to come down from the ledge of the parking garage. It was amazing how she stoped someone so closed-minded to come down to safety. I highly recommend this book it was very very entertaining, and it was a total page turner!

This book touches sensitive themes like suicide and contemplating life, but the truthfulness and inspiration in this story is memorable. In the beginning, the author masks the main idea of the story well, and when you realize the truth behind Jessica's purpose of being a ghost, everything comes together. I loved how the four friends each had their own story and hobbies. They were all different in their own ways, and Jessica's story changed all of their lives. The novel shows you the beauty of life, the different opportunities, what you would miss out, and how friendship changes lives.

"So many changes and they had all, when you looked back on it, happened so fast. How it could appear so impossible at one moment, and so full of hope and possibilities the next. And you never knew how or when that change might happen. You never knew what was around the corner in life and what it might throw up next."
