An excellent read that had me angry at times and crying at other times. A formidable young woman faces many trials and injustices with determination.

Was a great book but the ending totally ruined everything for me.

One of my absolute favourite of Bryce Courtenay's books. He weaves a wonderful story of a young woman in Australia dealing with many of the issues of the country. I couldn't put it down.
