I did not like this book. First off, there is this really lame spiritual thread through the whole story that doesn't really lend itself to making the book any better, in my opinion, and then the ending was so anti-climactic that it wasn't even worth reading. I don't recommend it. Read Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" if you're really interested in pirate books.
