Loved this book and I can't wait for the rest of the seris to be translated. Kerstin does a great job showing the culture and history of Europe. This book is very discriptive and this well writen book provides a clear picture of the places discribed.

SummaryAdd a Summary
Everyone in Gwyneth's family always thought that it would be her perfect cousin Charlotte who would inherit the female line of the time traveling gene. But when Gwen suddenly travels into different time periods, she realizes that it is her who can time travel.
Totally unprepared for time traveling, Gwen now has to figure out the mysteries and unmask the secrets of the Circle, all while working with Gideon, her time traveling partner, who can be annoying and a know-it-all but definitely the hottest looking guy Gwen's ever met.
A teenage girl named Gwen on a mission to travel back in time to save a little bit of history as this thread runs through the female part of the family and problems at school.
Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth, who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era!
Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon--the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.
