A documentary about the campaign at Gallipoli in the First World War, tracing the campaign from its inception, through the invasion, to the final failure and retreat. Using their diaries, letters, photographs and memoirs, director Tolga Örnek traces the personal journeys of Australian, New Zealand, British and Turkish soldiers, from innocence and patriotism to hardship and heartbreak. The experience is revealed in their own words, while dramatic recreations place you in the heart of the battle.

I enjoyed this DVD very much. It has info about a portion of the war which is known very little about among the average citizen.
