Engaging story for the older reader. Danny is an intense young hero with all the courage that his unusual convictions require.

This was one of the best books i've ever read and is definitely on my "favourite's list". Gemini Summer is heartwarming, incredibly sad and overall a great story.

Gemini Summer is a book about a boy and his family and their struggle after a tragedy came to them one summer in Hog's Hollow. The River's cope with the loss of beloved brother and son, Beau River, while little Danny River finds ways to convince his mother and father that the stray dog that wandered to him is really his brother in form of a dog. Through his adventures, Danny River shows his imagination and is an inspiration to readers everywhere.
