Oklahoma is a weird old school musical that belongs to a very different era. That said, getting to watch Hugh Jackman in a musical was a very good thing for me before he went back to his roots and did all these big movie musicals. Really, you know what you’re getting into with this and that’s okay.

Songs with unmoving lyrics and predictable melodies and heavy emphases on the western culture.

I really enjoyed this presentation. IMO, it's far better than the movie version. Staging was ingenious, using the turntable to change scenes. I plan to watch this again and again because I have enjoyed it so much - which is saying a lot, since I rarely watch a movie more than once.

Terrible. A British stage presentation. Poor music and horrible dialog. No comparison to the earlier movie presentation.

One of the catchiest musical scores out there, you can't beat Oklahoma! for a good time. Be prepared to skip through the ballet scene (so unnecessary) but an excellent supporting cast definitely makes up the occasional drag.
