Thank You for Smoking is a satire on the tobacco industry’s lobbying efforts to keep regulation away from the tobacco industry. Soon we should be seeing a film entitled Thank You for Using Fossil Fuels for you Home Environmental Control.

As witty as the book, in slightly different ways in places. Terrific comedy, social satire, and relationships.

Brilliantly funny, twisted take on the life of a tobacco lobbyist and the world he inhabits. Outstanding cast, all around, and very smart.

Really enoyed this film...and the cast is fantastic! Aaron Eckhart, J.K. Simmons, William C. Macy, Robert Duvall, Maria Bello, and Katie Holmes all did a really great job. I recommend!

This movie was wonderful on so many levels. It was incredibly funny and very intelligent. Now I don't think everyone will enjoy this movie nearly as much as I did but it is definitely worth checking out. I would recommend this to fans of dark comedies as well as to fans of good dramas.

Excellent, well-written satirical look at a tobacco industry lobbyist. Same tongue-in-cheek style as Lord of War.
