Todd Belknap, an agent recently cut loose from Consular Operations, decides to take matters into his own hands when a fellow agent is kidnapped in Lebanon by a militia group. Meanwhile, Andrea Bancroft gets a call to sit on the board of the Bancroft family foundation, and soon discovers that despite its dedication to doing good deeds, the foundation appears to be involved with the "Genesis", an individual working to destabilize the geopolitical balance. As events escalate, Belknap and Andrea come together to uncover the truth behind "Genesis".
