This is one of those "past coming back to haunt you" books. Harris is an excellent writer, and I really enjoyed her ability to turn a phrase. The ending is very satisfying and I encourage anyone who likes historical fiction to read it.

A nice one to curl up on the sofa with; a tale of gypsies and the players and the church, romance; a nice 'smokey' style.
