If I had read this book first out of the series, I would have never bothered to finished reading any of them. Skip this one. I wanted to slap Mia throughout the entirety of this book. I understand being all swept up in romance. Cabot made Mia TOO swept away. I kept getting: 'Single White Female/Misery' vibes from her. I just don't understand how this became a book idea or part of the catalog of books for this series? In the next one she's whining about Michael not taking her to the prom?! I picked up these books hoping that I would read about an ugly duckling turning into a political-minded swan. Now I am fearing that Cabot is undervaluing the audience that reads her stuff by handing out this fodder. Yes, young girls and young women are swept away by love and getting the guy they want is truly a Coup d'├ętat. I truly do think girls/women as whole people, write about other things just as mega-important in our lives; other then if he's going to dump me or loves-me-like-a-third-cousin.

Also why are people misconstruing Jane Eyre? Jane was cruel to Mr. Rochester, because Mr. Rochester is a sadistic (expletive). I have been leery and weary of books that use the classics as a framework for their own lives.

NEVER BEFORE HAS THE WORLD SEEN SUCH A PRINCESS.

Nor have her own subjects, for that matter. But Genovian politics are nothing next to Mia's real troubles.
Between canceled dates with her long-sought-after royal consort, a secound semester of the dreaded Algebra, more princess lessons from Grandmere, and the inability to stop gnawing on her fingernails, isn't there anything Mia is good at besides inheriting an unwanted royal title?

LINUXRULZ: Want to go to dinner at the screening room? They're showing the first Star Wars.

OH, MY GOD!!!!!!!! MICHAEL WAS ASKING ME OUT!!!!!!!!! Dinner and a movie. At the same time, because at the screening room you sit at a table and eat dinner while the movie is going.
And Star Wars is only my favorite of all time, after Dirty Dancing. Could there BE a girl luckier then me? No, I don't think so. Bite me, Brittney.
