This book is truly treasure! If you don't already know Jan Brett then this is a good place to start! You will meet Hedgie, the trolls, and learn a lot about Santa's elves and the reindeer. Plus Brett's illustrations of "Twelve Days of Christmas" (with proper Colly Birds- Scots for Black Birds- instead of the mis-translation "calling birds"), and "Night Before Christmas". A beautiful book that will become an annual Christmas tradition!
