At first, I didn't really like this book, but it turned out to be an interesting read. There's lot's of adventure, friendship, and action. I would recommend this book.

I liked it! The story was well written and the action fast-paced. I appreciated how the wreckers' past was so seamlessly woven into the plot/dialogue so that no part of the book seemed to bog down with a "history lesson." I'd definitely pick up book 2 to see what other adventures our narrator encounters and how he grows from them. :)
