Yes, Steppenwolf is a great rock group!. Yes, you would think KCLS would value their reputation by replacing damaged library items. Yes, KCLS is the busiest library system in the United States. That could mean that a cd that is popular and which only has one copy of hand, well, it might just wear out. How many plays would it take to wear a cd out? Who would know, other than KCLS, how many times a cd has been checked out. Patrons are allowed a month to play a cd as much as they want. Maybe KCLS could have a conference meeting and solve the issue of replacing damaged or missing library materials?

Great CD unfortunately KCLS chooses not to repair or replace this damaged disc and keep it in circulation. Word of caution for folks that tracks 1, 2, 10 through 16 all skip or do not play at all. This disc has seen better days. Cheers
