A bittersweet, complicated love story only Woody Allen could contrive, but it would be easily predictable, after all.

Typical fluff of the late Woody Allen period. Neither funny nor insightful.

Enjoyed the story, the costumes, the cars, the settings.

Not up to his best, but great music as always.

Delightful, lively script as only Woody can do. "Bobby" adopts voice, cadence, mannerisms to Woody so seems like it's Woody playing the lead in the film.

I wanted to like this movie more. Eisenberg and Carrell were solid. Kristen Stewart was awful in my opinion. I haven't watched Woody Allen romcom's at all, this is my first one. I wish I could get my time back!

It was cute and funny. Woody Allen is pretty predictable at this point. I enjoyed the costumes and set dressing, the cars, etc.

Steve Carell was great in this movie! Though i am not a big fan, i think he suited his character. I was intrigued by the preview of this movie and utterly disappointed at the second half.

It seems like Woody Allen makes the same film over and over. Little Jewish schmuck adrift in the world. Constantly bumbling around with sexual issues and intellectual psycho babble. The location was the highlight of this. Nice…

Cafe Society is an offering by Woody Allan about 1940's or 50's Hollywood. It held my interest but was a bit bland for my taste.

That standout to me in this film was Kristen Stewart. In this movie it's clear to me that if she hasn't matured as an actress she is at the very least maturing. She was a pleasure to watch. Also good in this was Steve Carrell. A good…

As Woody Allen movies go, it's okay but far from his best. Mild and forgettable entertainment in its use of appealing actors, mix of sex and humor, and pretty, detailed sets.

This movie is pleasing to my eyes. This is mostly due to Blake Lively. Kristen Stewart, though still pretty after her time as Bella Swan in Twilight, is lacking as an actress as I expected.

The making of this film was a waste of money, talent and energy.

It was pretty to look at and entertaining enough, but not very memorable in the end.

Jesse Eisenberg doing his impression of Woody Allen for two hours, or however long this film was, was just too much for me to take. I don't know if it's just that Eisenberg is just so overexposed, and I'm sick to death of seeing him play…

Other than the conclusion, I enjoyed the latest Woody Allen. I was mostly engaged with it because of the cast who are fine actors, especially Steve Carell. That being said, my husband hated it, couldn't stand it, found it choppy and dull,…

The characters were unlikable and hollow, and I found I just didn't care what happened in the film. Is it time for the Woodster to retire?

Woody Allen takes a look back at Hollywood in the 1930’s and gives us his impression of the great Hollywood actors, agents, producers, etc. and how they socialize with one another. Seniors might be mildly amused when the characters talk…

This is a very entertaining movie and one of Woody Allen's best script. The movie has good phase, casting and scenes. The ending was deep when the main characters depart which made the movie an ill fated love story. Unfortunately, Woody…

Despite my attitude toward the man as a human being, I still look forward to a Woody Allen film. Several of them have rated great reviews from me. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this one. I really did not bond with any…

Although this did not get particularly good reviews, I enjoyed it. An ill fated romance and several goofy characters. One of the most enjoyable movies of this year.

This time, Woody added a mob element but familiar central story on unlikely love stories of not so special old men with very pretty and capable young women (Kristen Stewart & Blake Lively.) The protagonist played by Jesse Eisenberg looked…

What a lovely movie. Woody Allen has such a concise and engaging way to tell a good story.
