I chose to listen to the audiobook and had to stop. The narrator was awful! The story was ok but not for me.

I really enjoyed this book! I could not wait to turn the pages as the story progressed.

I didn't finish this book. I'm not a fan of time travel and it didn't grab me right from the start. It just seemed very wordy and no action. Sorry, just not my cup of tea.

I agree with YourFunLibrarian’s review. It’s not about time travel, but about a person out of place. Good read. Recommended series.

Clever premise of an FBI agent going back in time and helping on a murder, but it reads really slowly and the discussions of time travel feel forced and clunky.

An enchanting time travel mystery romance set in 19th Century England in which a 21st Century female FBI agent attempts to find a heinous serial killer without modern science at her fingertips. 1st title in Kendra Donovan series.

I initially was put off by the first chapter of this book - but, push on, my friend, and you won't be disappointed! Kendra Donovan is an independent, intelligent, and disciplined FBI agent when she travels through a time warp to land…

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this story! I find that time travel hurts my brain, so I appreciated that the author made sure our heroine had the same difficulty. An FBI profiler time travels to the 19th century and she had to try…

While the writing is uneven, I enjoyed the premise of this time travel mystery. I’ll be reading book 2 for sure.

Very cool premise, but as other commenters have stated, the execution was a little iffy. Like cool ideas about time travel, but I feel that the menfolk would have sent a lady claiming to be from the future to an asylum. As long as you're…

What I loved about this book was the combining of genres -- Sci-fi, thriller, mystery and a bit of romance. It was like Quantum Leap meets Alias. With a strong female character who time travels back from present time to the early 19th…

This book had an intriguing premise (FBI agent in the present day accidentally travels back to the 1800s and ends up on the hunt for a serial killer) and some entertaining moments, but the execution left something to be desired. My main…

Very fun read. This book got me on its combo of detective mystery, time travel, romance, witty dialogue, multi-dimensional characters, and well written plot. I have been stressed from work lately, so reading a book that can get me to pay…

This is an ok time travel novel - I agree with the commenter who declared it a beach read. I found the heroine somewhat ingenuous, even though she's supposed to be very smart. The historical details were not done very well, the writing…

This is a good beach read. There is not much depth and only limited character development. Basically its a who-done-it with a 19th century backdrop

MURDER IN TIME by Julie McElwain It's a lot like a regency romance, but with murder mystery entwined. The story flows smoothly, has several layers, and is blessedly free of the canned phrases that are so plentiful in the quickly written…

This is time travel with a good mystery and capable, likable heroine who puts her skills and training to good use in spite of the difficult circumstances she faces. While at first glance comparisons to Outlander may seem apt, I thought A…

I picked this book up because it is the Big Library Read June/July 2016. I don't normally read this kind of thing, but I loved it! The main character is likeable and relatable, and the plot gets you addicted. Highly recommend it.
